Legal History and Advanced Legal History are foundational first year courses in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Juris Doctor (JD) programme respectively. These courses provide students with an opportunity to explore and address the history of Australia's British law traditions from medieval England to contemporary Australia, its conflict with Indigenous law, and how the law has been shaped through political struggle.
